about

Specialist in rehab-based functional training

Kelvin specialises in rehab-based functional training. Having played and competed in multiple sports — like football, basketball, volleyball, and muay thai, Kelvin was exposed to injury risks that come with them. Hence he fully understands that the struggles of his clients in their rehab journey is not merely physically, but also mental and emotional. Joy comes in the form of seeing clients return to sport, or overcoming pain or limitations to perform better in their chosen activity. This motivates him to constantly improve his understanding of movement mechanics and applying them to help clients move better, pain-free.

His training philosophy is “It’s important to move, but it’s more important to move well.” A philosophy that has served him well to help countless clients reach their rehab potential since he started in 2014. His clients range from working professionals — suffering from neck and back pain from deskbound work, to weekend warriors — looking to overcome their aches and pains to perform better in their weekly games, and even post-surgical cases with a goal of returning to sports.

Outside of work, Kelvin enjoys traveling, practising Muay Thai, and has decided to join an ultra-marathon. He believes that the drudgery of the miles is not boring, but rather an opportunity to refocus and experience the different things that happen over the course of a long run.
